Swift911 - Superior Water Company Emergency Notification System

In our efforts to provide more reliable communications with Residents and Businesses in our service area and to satisfy newly-issued regulations by the Department of Environmental Resources, we have contracted with Swiftreach Networks, Inc. as our Emergency Notification service provider.

DEP is requiring all public water suppliers to be able to make personal contact with their customers quickly in the event of a water emergency. We also want to give more effective notice of routine events such as main flushing. Swift911™, in its simplest form, is a system that makes phone calls to specific people or areas in the event of an emergency or for sharing important information. All of the calls that you receive will have the Caller ID of your township.

But Superior Water can only make these calls if we have our customers’ contact information. We will be making a concerted effort to gather contact information from all of our customers, both phone and e-mail, through May 2009. Superior Water wants to assure you that your contact information will not be released or sold to anyone.
