PUC Urges Consumers to Conserve Energy on Hot, Humid Days, Offers Summer Heat Wave Tips

HARRISBURG – The ongoing days of sweltering heat don’t have to mean an electric bill that will make you sweat.

With high temperatures and humidity expected to continue through the week, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today reminds consumers to conserve energy during days with severe heat and humidity.

Superior Water also reminds you that water conservation at this time is important too. The Department of Environmental Protection is warning of impending water shortages and the possibility that mandated conservation plans will be implemented in the near future.
